Our Story

Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas was founded to support children affected by the loss of a loved one. What began as a single free peer support group for 19 families has blossomed into a vital resource for thousands of children, caregivers, and community members each year. Through ongoing support groups, individual and family counseling, and professional education programs, the center adapts to meet the growing needs of those living with grief.
