Since its inception in 1997, the Children's Advocacy Center of Lowndes County has been a beacon of hope for children and families affected by abuse. Our Journey

In 1995, Lowndes County reported over 1,100 cases of child abuse, highlighting a critical need for intervention. The formation of the CAC was a direct response to this crisis, aiming to provide a safe space for healing and advocacy. Over the years, the CAC has expanded its services and facilities, moving to a new location in 2017 to better serve the community. The CAC now operates a satellite location in Nashville, GA, further extending its reach.
