Our Story

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hampshire County (CAC) was established in 1998 to address the urgent need for coordinated responses to child abuse. This center provides a safe, welcoming environment where children who have experienced abuse, assault, and exploitation can receive comprehensive services under one roof. By partnering with a multidisciplinary team, the CAC ensures that every child receives the support they need to heal and thrive.

Impact

Since its inception, the CAC has provided free, trauma-informed services to over 3,000 children in Hampshire County, with 80% of those served being survivors of sexual abuse. This impactful work not only helps children heal but also fosters a safer community.
