Our Story
The journey of Children of Grace began in 2000 when Mary Ann McCoy was inspired to act after reading about the devastating effects of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. During a life-changing trip to Uganda, she met Grace, an HIV-positive mother of two, who shared her fears of leaving her children behind. Mary Ann promised to care for Grace's children, and shortly after, Grace passed away. This promise led to the creation of Children of Grace, dedicated to nurturing and educating children affected by poverty and AIDS.
