Our Story
Since 1979, Children in Placement has been at the forefront of advocating for the rights and well-being of Connecticut's abused and neglected children. Founded by Judge Frederica Brenneman, the organization addresses critical gaps in the child protection and court systems, ensuring that every child in foster care has an independent voice. Over the years, Children in Placement has expanded its services to include the Guardian ad Litem Program and the Youth Sponsor Program, providing essential advocacy in juvenile and probate courts.
