Empowering Children and Youth for a Brighter Future

The Center for Children & Youth Justice (CCYJ), founded in 2006 by Justice Bobbe J. Bridge (ret.), is dedicated to transforming Washington’s juvenile justice and child welfare systems. By identifying systemic gaps and advocating for innovative solutions, CCYJ empowers children and youth, stabilizes families, and strengthens communities. With nearly two decades of impactful work, CCYJ has successfully integrated reforms into state law and established protocols adopted by courts and schools.

Making a Lasting Impact

CCYJ operates a variety of programs that address critical issues affecting children in Washington State. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders and providing training and technical assistance, CCYJ ensures that solutions are data-driven and centered around youth needs.
