Our Story

The Community Health Clinic of Collin County, founded by Mary Nelle Cummins in 2004, began as a volunteer-run initiative aimed at serving the medically underserved. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital healthcare provider for uninsured individuals and families in Collin County, especially after forming a strategic alliance with Catholic Charities Dallas in 2023.

Impact

CHC serves as a medical home for approximately 750 uninsured adults with chronic diseases, helping them manage their health effectively and avoid costly emergency care.
