Our Story

This organization is the only one in Rhode Island focused on eradicating childhood lead poisoning through comprehensive education, support for parents, and strong advocacy efforts.

Our Impact

Over the past three decades, CLAP has played a pivotal role in significantly reducing childhood lead poisoning in Rhode Island. The organization has trained more than 12,000 individuals on lead prevention and has successfully advocated for critical legislation to address lead hazards.
