Our Story

The Child Protection Response Center (CPRC) was established in 2006 by Dr. Barbara Harre to address the critical lack of access to medical services for child abuse assessments in the Quad Cities area. Recognizing that abused children often faced long journeys for necessary medical attention, CPRC was founded to provide a coordinated response to child maltreatment. Over the years, the center has expanded its services to include essential mental health care for children and adolescents, meeting a significant community need.
