About Child Find of America

Founded in 1980 by Gloria Yerkovich, Child Find of America was born from a mother's heartache after her daughter was abducted. Recognizing the urgent need for resources to locate missing children and address parental abduction, Gloria established this vital organization. Over the years, Child Find has expanded its mission to include prevention programs that help defuse family conflicts, ultimately protecting children from abduction and abuse.

Impact of Child Find

In 2023 alone, Child Find worked on 1,086 cases, successfully assisting in the location and return of 264 children. The organization also made over 8,000 direct efforts to mitigate Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and promote family well-being.
