Our Story

Founded in 1966 by dedicated church members in Holland, Child Development Services of Ottawa County Inc, known as CDS Lakeshore Head Start, began with a mission to provide essential child care resources for families. Starting with just 30 children, the organization has grown to serve over 400 children across six locations in Ottawa County, offering federally funded Head Start and Early Head Start services, as well as private pay child care options.
