Our Story

Founded in 1974 by Charlene Tressler, Child Development Associates Incorporated (CDA) began as a small child development center in Otay Mesa, California. With a vision to support families, Charlene opened the doors to a classroom of 24 children, nurturing their growth and development. Over the years, CDA has transformed into a multi-service nonprofit agency, employing over 280 dedicated staff members and serving more than 26,000 children through various programs.
