Originally known as Child Care Resource & Referral of Kalamazoo, the organization has evolved to better serve families and child care providers across nine counties, including Allegan, Barry, and Berrien. SWCCR connects families with quality child care options and provides essential resources to enhance the care and education of children.
Today, SWCCR stands as the primary source for training and resources for child care providers in the region. With a dedicated team of Quality Improvement Specialists, SWCCR offers a range of training programs, from Early Childhood Education Apprenticeships to workshops on child development. This commitment ensures that families have access to quality and affordable child care, fostering a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
