Our Story
The Kids First Child Advocacy Center of the 9th Judicial District was established in April 2002 to serve victims of severe child abuse in Tennessee. Created in response to a state mandate, the center has expanded its services to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care to over 4,500 victims and their families.
Impact
Since its inception, the center has received over 6,500 referrals and educated more than 32,000 children through its school-based intervention program, Stop Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN).
