Our Story

What began in 1906 as a subcontracting project for a basket-weaving shop has evolved into Chicago Lighthouse Industries. This sister agency to The Chicago Lighthouse is dedicated to providing industrial job opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired. Since 1977, the production of high-quality wall clocks has been a cornerstone of our mission, with nearly 7 million clocks hand-produced by skilled individuals.
