In 2004, a dedicated group of Christian businessmen took a bold step to revitalize the shuttered St. Callistus School in Chicago. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, they transformed the facilities into Chicago Hope Academy, a beacon of hope for families seeking quality education rooted in faith. After extensive renovations, the academy opened its doors on August 29, 2005, welcoming its first freshman and sophomore classes. Since then, Chicago Hope Academy has expanded its facilities, adding classrooms, athletic spaces, and state-of-the-art amenities like a weight room and cardio room.

Making a Lasting Impact

Chicago Hope Academy is committed to providing a private, faith-based education to students in the Near West Side community. Despite receiving no public funding, the academy continues to thrive, thanks to the generosity of donors who believe in its mission. The school’s tuition revenue covers less than 15% of its operating budget, making donations crucial for sustaining its programs and services.
