Our Story

The Chicago Furniture Bank is dedicated to bridging the gap between those with extra furniture and those in need. Founded in July 2018, this nonprofit organization empowers Chicagoans facing poverty by allowing them to select an entire home's worth of furniture, ensuring dignity and stability.

Impact

Since its inception, the Chicago Furniture Bank has furnished over 13,000 homes and served more than 21,500 individuals, giving away over 13 million pounds of furniture.
