The Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation (CPSEF) was established in 2005 by a dedicated group of community and business leaders committed to supporting the local school district. Over the past 15 years, CPSEF has made significant strides in enhancing educational experiences for students in Chesapeake. From purchasing essential technology for schools to upgrading equipment in the Chesapeake Planetarium, the foundation has invested over $200,000 in grants to empower educators to implement innovative ideas in their classrooms.

In recent years, CPSEF has focused on providing vital resources to enhance learning experiences. Initiatives such as the Teacher Supply Center, which allows teachers to access classroom supplies at no cost, and the Speaker Series for professional development, have made a profound impact. Additionally, CPSEF has awarded Innovative Instructional Grants and donated $100,000 to provide hot spots for students in need, ensuring that every child has the tools necessary for success.

Impact of Your Support

Thanks to CPSEF, students have started the school year fully equipped with supplies, with $192,222 invested in Chesapeake classrooms through Instructional Innovation Grants. The Teacher Supply Center has distributed over 62,000 supplies, benefiting both students and teachers.
