Our Story

The Cheney Depot Society was established to save the historic 1929 Spanish style Northern Pacific Railroad depot from demolition. After being declared surplus by BNSF Railway in 2014, the society successfully relocated the depot to downtown Cheney, where it is now undergoing rehabilitation.
