Cheer Up Missions began in 1998, responding to the devastation of Hurricane Mitch in Central America. Initially formed by a team of eight, the mission was to spread 'Good Cheer' through performances in shelters. However, the organization quickly evolved, receiving medical aid and wheelchairs, leading to the shipment of 20 forty-foot containers of aid over three years.
To date, Cheer Up Missions has successfully sent 25,000 school books and 100 computers to disaster-affected schools in the Philippines, aiming to restore education as a pathway out of poverty.
