Our Story
Founded in 1923 as the Little Theatre of Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Theatre Centre is one of the oldest and busiest community theatres in the nation. It has thrived through significant historical events, including the Great Depression and World War II, making it the oldest continuously running community theatre in the country. The theatre enriches the cultural, intellectual, and emotional development of people of all ages by providing high-quality theatrical experiences and creating opportunities for engagement.
