Our Story
Founded in 1985 by a group of concerned parents and professionals, the Chattanooga Area Brain Injury Association (CABIA) has evolved from a support group into a vital resource for brain injury survivors and their families. With the establishment of 501(c)(3) status in 1995, CABIA has become a leading advocate for those affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in Southeast Tennessee, Northwest Georgia, and Northeast Alabama. The organization continues to grow, providing essential services and support to improve the quality of life for individuals facing the challenges of brain injuries.
