Our Story

The Chase Youth Commission was established in 1986 by Mayor Jim Chase to empower young voices in local government. Initially a municipal body, it evolved into a joint City/County agency in 1998, significantly expanding its impact across Spokane County. Recognized nationally, the Commission is dedicated to fostering healthy youth and communities.
