Charity League of Charlotte (CLC) is an all-women volunteer nonprofit dedicated to uplifting children in underserved communities since 1921. Originally formed as 'Sheltering Arms' by a Sunday school class, CLC has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, focusing on providing essential items and support to children in Title I schools.
Currently, CLC partners with Title I CMS locations where at least 98% of the children live at or below the poverty level. Through established CLC HUBS in schools, critical care items and literacy programs are provided, enhancing the educational experience for students in need.
