Our Story

Founded in 1971 by a group of caring individuals, The Charity Guild is dedicated to a simple yet profound goal: providing food and clothing for those in need. As the organization enters its sixth decade of service, it remains committed to assisting the Greater Brockton area, focusing primarily on those at risk of food insecurity. Each month, The Charity Guild serves between 1,500 and 2,000 individuals, ensuring that clients receive nutritious food tailored to their specific needs.

Our Impact

Serving over 23,500 individuals annually, The Charity Guild operates two Emergency Food Pantries in Brockton, MA. With a main facility on Main Street and a new pantry located inside Brockton High School, the organization distributes up to 30,000 pounds of nutritious food each month. The belief that "Food is Love" drives the mission to nourish and care for the community.
