Channel Islands Restoration (CIR) is dedicated to protecting rare and endangered plants and animals by restoring habitats in sensitive natural areas on the California Channel Islands and adjacent mainland. Through education and volunteer engagement, CIR fosters a community committed to environmental stewardship.

Impact of Our Work

Since 2002, CIR has engaged over 10,000 volunteers, including nearly 3,400 children, in habitat restoration projects across more than 100 sites. These efforts have significantly contributed to the protection of native species, including the island fox.
