Our Story

The Change Reaction was founded in 2019 by Greg and Jodi Perlman after witnessing the financial struggles families face during hospitalizations. This inspired the creation of a fund that has evolved into a direct giving platform, supporting hardworking individuals in Los Angeles facing financial emergencies. With a network of over 250 partner organizations and 2,000 Change Agents, The Change Reaction identifies and assists those in need.

Impact

In 2023 alone, The Change Reaction distributed over $30 million in grants, providing urgent financial assistance to nearly 25,000 individuals and families.
