Chandler Service Club

Our Story

Founded in January 1933 during the Great Depression, Chandler Service Club is a dedicated all-volunteer women’s organization based in Chandler, Arizona. A group of eight women came together to combat hunger among school children, cooking and delivering meals to those in need. Over the decades, this spirit of community service has flourished, with nearly 100 members actively participating in various programs and events that touch the lives of individuals across all ages and backgrounds.

Impact

Chandler Service Club has made a significant impact by providing nearly 600 bags of kid-friendly food each weekend during the school year through the Weekenders Food Program, serving 23 schools in the Chandler Unified School District. Additionally, the organization has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to graduating high school seniors and adults returning to college.
