About CATsNAP

Established in 2005, the Champaign Area Trap Spay Neuter and Adoption Program, known as CATsNAP, is dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and enhancing the welfare of animals in the greater Champaign County, Illinois area. This nonprofit organization advocates for the spaying and neutering of all animals, regardless of breed, sex, or age, to prevent the birth of unwanted pets and reduce the number of animals in shelters.

Impact

In 2022 alone, CATsNAP helped over 1,375 cats, maintaining a consistent record of aiding more than 1,000 cats annually since 2018. This significant impact demonstrates a commitment to improving animal welfare and reducing pet overpopulation in the community.
