Chabad's Children of Chernobyl

Our Story

In 1990, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, founded Chabad's Children of Chernobyl to rescue children affected by the Chernobyl disaster. The organization focuses on evacuating these children from contaminated areas, providing them with housing, education, and medical care in Israel.

Impact

CCOC has successfully conducted 99 rescue flights, saving thousands of children and providing them with critical medical care and education in a supportive environment.
