Cetana Educational Foundation

Our Story

Cetana Educational Foundation was founded in 1993 in response to a plea from Burmese educators disheartened by the military junta’s disruption of higher education. Established by the Dickason family, the foundation aims to provide educational opportunities to young people in Myanmar, regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Impact

With over 80 scholarships awarded for study abroad, Cetana has reached more than 5,400 students through its learning centers and distributed 10,000 books to libraries in Myanmar, significantly enhancing the educational landscape.
