Our Story
Founded in 1974 by Marcela Lucero Trujillo and dedicated volunteers, Centro Tyrone Guzman began as Centro Cultural Chicano to serve the growing Mexican-American community in Minneapolis. Over the years, the organization has evolved, expanding its mission under the leadership of Tyrone Guzman to address poverty through education and community engagement. Today, it continues to honor Guzman's legacy by empowering Latine families and individuals through various programs.
