Our Story

Centro San Vicente (CSV) was founded over a century ago by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, who initially opened El Paso's first hospital, Hotel Dieu. After its closure in 1988, CSV emerged to deliver accessible and affordable medical care and social services to the community. Today, CSV continues to evolve, offering a wide range of services including medical care, health education, and counseling, all while being affiliated with Ascension Health, the largest nonprofit health system in the nation.
