Our Story
Founded in 1991, the Latino Center on Aging (LCA) is dedicated to advocating for better services for Hispanic seniors. By utilizing education through media, public testimony, and organizing conventions, LCA addresses the unique challenges faced by Latino seniors. Many existing services are often inaccessible due to linguistic and cultural barriers, making the need for tailored support urgent. LCA serves as a vital liaison between Hispanic seniors and available services while advocating for the development of culturally appropriate centers for the elderly.
