In 1997, the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation was established to revitalize this iconic site, advocating for its preservation and fostering community engagement. The CTRC is dedicated to transforming the Terminal into a vibrant center that attracts investment and enriches the cultural landscape of Buffalo's East Side.

Impact

In 2023, the CTRC hosted 15 free community events, engaging over 8,000 attendees and promoting connections among diverse groups. With an investment of approximately $57,000 in arts and cultural programming, the organization focuses on uplifting women and people of color.
