Our Story

The Central Ohio Worker Center was established in 2014 to address the needs of low-wage and immigrant workers. Inspired by community leaders and activists, the organization emerged from collaborative efforts among workers, students, and unions.

Impact

Since its inception, the COWC has organized numerous actions for immigrant rights, provided critical testimony against anti-immigrant legislation, and successfully recovered thousands in stolen wages.
