Our Story

The journey of Central Florida Leadership Academy (CFLA) began with a dedicated mother, Jody Litchford, who sought a better educational path for her son. Inspired by The Hyde School's focus on family partnership and character development, she rallied a team of leaders to establish CFLA in Orlando in 2013. Since then, CFLA has been committed to nurturing students academically and personally, with Joshua Corlew stepping in as the third Principal in 2022.

Impact

With a remarkable graduation rate exceeding 95%, CFLA has consistently outperformed district averages in testing. The school is dedicated to cultivating civic leaders with strong character, serving a student body where most qualify for free or reduced lunch, underscoring the critical need for support.
