Our Story

The Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida (DSACF) was founded in 1991 by a dedicated group of parents who believed in the potential of children with Down syndrome. Over the years, DSACF has expanded its reach, now serving over 1,200 individuals and their families across eight counties, supported by a vibrant community of more than 17,000 friends, professionals, and volunteers.

Impact

Each year, DSACF provides scholarships, resources, and programs that empower over 200 families. With more than 50 programs aimed at advocacy and education, the organization fosters a supportive community that champions the rights and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome.
