About Central Florida Child Health Program

Established in 1991, the Central Florida Child Health Program Inc. (CFCHP) was created to address the urgent need for accessible primary health care for all Florida citizens. In partnership with the Department of Health/Children’s Medical Services, CFCHP has been dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care services to underserved pediatric populations in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties.

Impacting Lives Through Comprehensive Care

Each year, CFCHP touches the lives of over 6,000 low-income, high-risk children by offering a Medical Home that promotes a family-centered, culturally competent, and community-based system of care. This holistic approach ensures that children with special health care needs receive the care coordination they deserve, allowing families to access secondary and tertiary services seamlessly.

Programs That Make a Difference

In addition to the Medical Home program, CFCHP has expanded its services to include the Medical Foster Care program in Brevard County, which supports foster children with medical needs. The HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Program further empowers families by providing home-based early childhood educational services, ensuring that children are ready for kindergarten.
