Our Story
Since 1974, Central Boston Elder Services (CBES) has been dedicated to promoting elder independence in Boston while respecting their dignity and well-being. Founded by local community leaders and elder advocates, CBES emerged to address the needs of an underserved minority population in the urban center. As a non-profit organization, CBES is the only Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) among the 24 eldercare agencies, contributing to our communities' social and economic development. Guided by a philosophy of high-quality, responsive services, CBES connects individuals to the care they need, fostering independence and well-being.
