Our Story

Central Baptist Village began as a simple dream of Reverend Jacob Meier 125 years ago. He envisioned a nurturing environment where seniors could have their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs met. Starting in 1896 with just twelve residents in a remodeled home in Chicago, this dream has evolved into a vibrant community located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in Norridge, a suburb of Chicago. Today, Central Baptist Village welcomes individuals of all faiths and is home to nearly 200 residents, continuing to fulfill Reverend Meier's vision for generations.
