Our Story

Since 1981, the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN) has dedicated itself to facilitating the transition of immigrants into their new lives. By providing essential services and promoting grassroots empowerment, CARECEN plays a vital role in advancing the Latino community in Washington, DC.

Impact

In 2023 alone, CARECEN supported 238 citizenship students and helped 311 individuals achieve naturalization, managing over 2,200 legal cases to enhance the quality of life for Latino families.
