Our Story

Established in 2010, the Central Alabama Alliance Resource & Advocacy Center (CAARAC) was founded by six passionate individuals who recognized HIV as a human rights issue. By addressing the needs of the HIV community through education, advocacy, and compassionate social services, CAARAC has made a significant impact. In 2018, the organization expanded its mission to tackle other health disparities affecting vulnerable populations.

Impact

CAARAC promotes hope, tolerance, and social justice for all individuals affected by chronic health disparities and HIV. Through meaningful prevention programs, the organization delivers services with compassion and care, fostering healthier communities.
