Our Story

The Center for Youth and Family Solutions was established in 2011 by a dedicated group of civic-minded individuals in response to a critical child and family services crisis in Central Illinois. This organization was formed to ensure continuity of care for vulnerable foster children and to provide a comprehensive social service organization that welcomes and serves everyone. The founders believed in the strength and creativity of the human spirit, aiming to protect children from service gaps caused by changes in state contracts with faith-based agencies. Since 2012, the organization has contracted with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Human Services, focusing on child welfare, residential services, and community intervention.

Impact

Anticipating to serve over 20,000 children and families in need across 37 counties in Central Illinois, the Center for Youth and Family Solutions provides critical services and support to vulnerable populations.
