The Center for World Music, originally founded as the American Society for Eastern Arts in 1963, has a rich legacy of promoting high standards in music and dance. Since relocating to San Diego in 1979, the organization has dedicated itself to enriching the cultural landscape through various programs, including the impactful World Music in the Schools initiative.
