Our Story
The Center for Workforce Inclusion is dedicated to creating economic opportunities for low-income and disadvantaged older adults. Established in 1962, it is the only national organization focused exclusively on the workforce development needs of individuals aged 50 and older. Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, the Center advocates for the inclusion of older workers in the job market.
Impact
Since its inception, the Center for Workforce Inclusion has empowered nearly 500,000 clients to gain essential skills and secure employment with over 5,000 employers across 35 states and territories. Through innovative programs, including the Digital Certification Program, the Center combats ageism and prepares older workers for the modern workplace.
