About the Center for the Visually Impaired
Founded in the 1960s by dedicated parents, the Center for the Visually Impaired (CVI) has grown into Georgia's largest service provider for the blind and visually impaired. With a mission to empower individuals impacted by vision loss, CVI offers a wide range of rehabilitation and training services to enhance independence and dignity.
Impact of CVI
Each year, CVI supports over 1,000 children, adults, and seniors, helping them acquire essential skills for school, work, and community engagement. Nearly half of the clients come from low-income households, and CVI ensures that services are accessible to all, regardless of their ability to pay.
Why Donate to CVI?
Your generous donations enable CVI to provide vital services to individuals with vision loss, ensuring they can live independently and with dignity. Contributions help fund a sliding fee scale and financial assistance programs, making services accessible to those in need.
