Our Story

The Center for Southeast Asians (CSEA), established in 1987, is a nonprofit organization based in Providence, Rhode Island. CSEA is dedicated to supporting refugees and immigrants from Southeast Asia through a variety of social service and community development programs. Over the years, the Center has expanded its services to include newcomers from other regions and low-income residents of Providence’s Elmwood neighborhood.

Impact

CSEA has successfully served the Southeast Asian community and other low-income residents in Rhode Island by providing essential services such as translator services, job training, and benefits assistance, significantly improving the quality of life for its clients.
