Established on October 5, 1979, the organization opened its Emergency Shelter and quickly filled its beds, demonstrating the urgent need for such services in Rockland and beyond. Today, the Center continues to provide a safe haven for thousands of children and families, offering free and confidential programs that empower individuals to reclaim their lives.
