Our Story

Established in 1998 by Dr. Douglas Johnston, the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD) works to integrate religious considerations into global peacebuilding policy and practice. With programs in over two dozen nations, ICRD fosters mutual understanding across cultural and religious divides.
